Zamcog is a charity that raises funds to educate and support street kids and orphans in Zambia. We make a real difference to kids lives as all funds raised go direct to the project. It takes only £300 a year to feed, clothe, educate and provide shelter to a child who is orphaned and hitherto had no real prospects in life.We now see children passing exams and planning to be engineers and teachers with hope in their lives and a plan for their future.Zamcog focuses on self-sufficiency and sustainability.
It really is a fantastic cause and makes a real difference.
On the evening they will be displaying some fantastic artwork and photographs of the children and their environment. They are beautifully mounted and framed and I personally have bought some for display in my own home. Each one tells a story and becomes personal to you as you they are a talking point and you have a story about the child you have helped.
Go along and donate £100 or more in exchange for a piece of artwork of your choosing.
The event runs from 6pm to 9.30pm. You can just drop by for an hour if that is easier.
We recently ran a similar exhibition at The (ROA) 2, Royal Opera Arcade Gallery in London and raised over £40,000 on one evening event as guests were so moved by the cause and the work the charity was doing in Zambia.
