The campaign aims to raise the profile of wool as a versatile, natural fibre and help revive British sheep farming. The exhibition focuses on the modern, innovative and avant garde use of wool throughout the creative industries and features the best of wool in carpets, insulation and fashion, with items from Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Paul Smith amongst others. 

The exhibition is set to break the traditional perceptions of wool fibre and create a new platform for wool in the 21st century.

Prince Charles says: "When we first discussed this campaign, it appeared that wool had been forgotten. It was being ignored in favour of fabrics made from non-renewable fossil fuels. Wool leaves a lighter footprint on the planet compared to man-made products and when you consider how long it lasts, it represents fantastic value."

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have opened a new exhibition to showcase wool pieces from some of the world's top designers.
The Wool Modern exhibition at La Galleria on Pall Mall in central London is the highlight of this year's Wool Week, which is part of the Campaign for Wool launched by Charles in 2010.
Camilla wore a woollen dress designed by Anna Valentine and actor Colin Firth and his wife, Livia Firth, turned out to show their support.
The campaign aims to raise the profile of wool as a versatile, natural fibre and help revive British sheep farming.
Renowned figures from the fashion and design industries were invited to the exhibition to view the best of wool in carpets, insulation products and fashion pieces.
Items from designers Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood took centre stage.
Charles said: "When you start something like this you wonder if anyone is going to respond at all, so the fact that there has been such a positive response is enormously encouraging.
"When we launched the campaign for wool it was in an unbelievably cold barn in January. It did actually require a great deal of wool to survive.
"When we first discussed this campaign it appeared that wool had been forgotten. It was being ignored in favour of fabrics made from non-renewable fossil fuels.
"Wool leaves a lighter footprint on the planet compared to man-made products and when you consider how long it lasts it represents fantastic value."

Following the great success of "Spirit of Art" 2011 exhibition we will open another international art exhibition this summer. It will take place at La Gallery Pall Mall Gallery. This international visual art exhibition will be opened on August 17^th -27.08.2011. The exhibition is curate and organized by the international art curator and artist, Mrs. Zina Bercovici.

About 30 artists from 14 countries: Austria, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Korea, Israel, Italy, Pakistan, Rumania, Russia, Spain, The Netherlands, Turkey, and USA sent their finest art paintings, digital printing, pencil arts-works and sculptures to the exhibition. The exhibition incorporates works of 30 best artists that are famous at their countries. Their works are part of private collections and museums around the world. They participated in various international art exhibitions in Europe, America and Asia.

The richness of the collection pumps in the heart of visual art lovers. Art lovers and art collectors should not miss this show. The exhibition will be opened to public from 18^t of August.

The Gallery is located at John Nash Royal Opera Arcade No 30
